Connect your Patreon to Discord

Link your Patreon membership to Discord so your Carnivore role gets applied automatically — no manual role requests needed.

💡

Why this matters: your Discord roles are tied to your Patreon tier. Until Patreon and Discord are linked, our bot has no way of knowing which tier you're on — so your perks channel and Carnivore role won't show up even if your membership is active.

Desktop only for this part: you can purchase your membership from mobile just fine, but the Patreon–Discord connection itself has to be done on a desktop or laptop browser. If you're on your phone, save this guide and come back on a computer for the steps below.

Open the Membership tab on Exisle

Head to the Exisle Patreon page and click Membership in the top nav. This is where your active tier lives, along with a Quick Links panel below it.

Find the Discord community card

Scroll down to Quick links and look for the Discord community card. Click Connect to Discord on the right side of that card.

ℹ️ If you don't see this card, click Show more tiers at the bottom of the page first — it can be tucked below the fold depending on your tier.

Log in to Discord if prompted

Patreon will pop open a Discord window. If you're not already logged in on this browser, enter your Discord credentials now.

Authorize the connection

Discord will show a permissions screen for Patreon. It's asking to see your username/avatar, check which servers you're in, and join servers on your behalf — that last one is what lets it drop you straight into the Exisle server with your role attached.

🔒 This is expected and safe — Patreon cannot read or send messages as you. It only uses this to sync your membership tier to your Discord roles.

Click the purple Authorize button to confirm.

Check your role in the Exisle server

You'll be redirected back to Patreon. Hop into the Exisle Discord server and confirm you now have the Carnivore role (or whichever tier you're pledged at).

⏳ Give it a few minutes — the role doesn't always apply instantly. Sync can take a little while to go through on Patreon's end, so don't worry if it's not there the second you authorize.

If it still hasn't shown up after a few minutes, try leaving and rejoining the server via the invite link

Troubleshooting

I authorized but never got redirected into the Exisle server

Use the official invite link from the Discord community card (or the Learn how to connect to Discord link beneath it) to join manually — your role should already be attached once you're in.

My role disappeared

This usually means your Patreon pledge lapsed or the connection was unlinked on Discord's end. Reconnect using the same steps above and it will re-sync.

I'm on the right tier but have the wrong role

Patreon can take a little while to push tier changes to Discord after an upgrade or downgrade. If it's been more than 30 minutes, open a ticket in the Exisle Discord and we'll sort it manually.
