Everything you need to know about the panel, step by step — from signing in to designing your own custom dino skin.

1. Sign In & Daily Reward

Step 1 — Home dashboard

Sign in with Steam to unlock your dashboard. Your BurntPennies balance and profile always stay visible in the top bar.

  • Click Claim 300 BurntPennies on the Daily Reward card — available once every 24 hours.

  • Every feature card on the dashboard links straight to its section.

Tip: Logging in daily for the free reward adds up fast — don't skip it.

2. Your Dino

Step 2 — Your Dino stats & Prime Progress

See your current dinosaur rendered in 3D along with live stats:

  • Growth, Health, Hunger, Thirst — tracked with live numbers and bars.

  • Prime status badge (e.g. "Prime Elder") shown top-right.

Below, the Prime Progress checklist shows exactly what's needed to reach Prime status — complete at least 5 of the 10 listed conditions (visiting Sanctuaries, getting nested in, perfect diet, migration/patrol zones, raising children, etc).

Watch out: some conditions are blockers — like "Never be Infertile." Fail one of these and Prime status is locked for that life.

3. Garage

Step 3 — Garage / parked dinos

Every dino you own lives here. Each card shows species, gender, and growth %, with three actions:

  • Restore — bring that dino back in-game.

  • Rename — give it a custom name.

  • Sell — cash it in for BurntPennies (price shown per dino).

4. Dino Shop

Step 4 — Dino Shop

Browse every purchasable species, tagged with growth %, gender, and BurntPennies price.

  1. Find the dino you want.

  2. Click Buy.

  3. It's instantly sent to your Garage — head there to Restore it in-game.

5. Skin Shop

Step 5a — Skin Shop catalog

  1. Browse the full skin catalog (prices range from a few hundred up to 15,000+ Pennies).

  2. Use Preview on [species] to see it on a specific dino before buying.

  3. Click Buy to purchase.

Step 5b — Your Collection

Scroll down to Your Collection to manage skins you already own:

  • Apply in-game — push the skin onto your current dino.

  • Remove from inventory — clear out skins you no longer want.

6. Casino

Step 6 — Casino

Pick a game and click Play:

  • Slots — match three reels, three 7s pays the jackpot.

  • All-or-Nothing — one flip, double your bet or lose it all.

  • Blackjack — beat the dealer to 21 without going over.

  • Daily Spins — a free wheel spin.

  • PvP — challenge another player, winner takes the pot.

Note: The Patreon Wheel is currently locked — a Patreon-exclusive perk.

7. Bets

Step 7 — Bets

  • World Cup Bets — football matches with live odds, single or combo bets.

  • Custom Bets — the server's own bets, with custom odds set by the team.

8. Killfeed

Step 8 — Killfeed

A live, timestamped feed of every kill on the server — killer, victim, dino species, and damage % all shown at a glance. Great for keeping a pulse on the action even when you're offline.

9. Live Map

Step 9 — Live Map

Toggle map layers on or off: Locations, Sanctuaries, Migration Zones, Patrol Zones, Food spawns, Player heatmap.

  • Share my location — let friends see you; turn off to go invisible.

  • Trails — show your path and/or friends' paths, or clear your trail.

  • Add a friend — search by name to start tracking them.

Tip: Check the map before pushing into contested zones — knowing where threats are can save your dino's life.

10. Skin Editor

Step 10 — Skin Editor

  1. Choose a Species and Sex.

  2. Set Mode (Standard or Glitched) and adjust Variation / Pattern values.

  3. Customize each color slot — Body, Markings, Flank, Underbelly, Detail, Display, Eyes — by clicking a swatch or typing a hex code. Lock colors you want to keep, or reset individually.

  4. Preview live on the 3D model (drag to rotate, scroll to zoom).

  5. Click Apply in-game, or use Copy JSON / Download to save the design file.

  6. Save your favorite combo as a Preset for quick reuse later.
