Applies to all players, all species

Exisle Server Rules

The standards every survivor plays by. Read them once, keep them close — ignorance of a rule won't spare your Dino.

01

General Rules

Baseline conduct that applies across every game mode, species, and group.

  • 1
Social mix-packing is allowed for all Dinos — with three exceptions.
Trex, Deinosuchus, and Triceratops cannot form a social pack with their own species. Each of these must stick to a single group of their own kind at a time — no combining two Trex packs, two Deino packs, or two Trike packs into one.

They can still mix-pack with other species.
  • 2
Do not kill players who are safe-logging.
  • 3
You cannot intentionally kill a member of your own group.
  • 4
    Do not kill crashed players.
  • 5
You must always remain within your species' group size limit — see Group Limits below.
  • 6
No targeting the same player repeatedly.
  • 7
No toxicity in VOIP or global chat. Racism, hate speech, and derogatory language of any kind will not be tolerated.
02

PvP Rules

Fair fights only. These rules govern engagements, retreats, and how groups behave mid-conflict.

  • 1
    No mix-packing in PvP.
  • 2
    No third-partying.
If you are attacked by an ungrouped player or a different species already in an ongoing fight, you're considered invited into that fight — you may defend yourself and fight back against the aggressor.
  • 3
No retrieving a Dino to enter PvP.
  • 4
No storing your Dino while engaged in PvP.
  • 5
Do not add players to your group during a PvP engagement, hunt, or conflict.
  • 6
    No tag-teaming.
There is no grace period after a fight ends — the third-party rule applies until the encounter is fully, verifiably over.
Exception

Deinosuchus

Exempt from the third-party rule. May not body-block or shield ungrouped players who are drinking. Cannot third-party any fight that already involves another Deinosuchus.
Exception

Herrerasaurus

Exempt from the third-party rule. Ungrouped players may not be shielded from a Herra's ambush. A Herra already engaged in PvP cannot be third-partied — unless you're a Deinosuchus.
03

Reports

How to raise a ticket, and what we need from you to act on it.

  • 1
Only open a ticket for situations you were directly involved in.
  • 2
For reports of VOIP toxicity or PvP rule breaks, footage is required. Use in-game F2 recording, and we recommend Medal for capturing VOIP.
Footage must cover before, during, and after the encounter — clips that only show one moment won't be actioned.
Rude or aggressive behaviour toward a staff member will get your ticket closed on the spot, and may result in further action.

Custom command compensation

If a custom server command directly causes the loss of your Dino, you may be eligible for compensation under the Regrow policy — provided you can show:
  • 1
A recording proving the command led to your death.
  • 2
A written explanation of what happened that matches the server logs.
04

Regrow Policy

What happens once your evidence is reviewed.

If admins determine the evidence you've submitted sufficiently supports your report, you'll be granted a regrow — restoring your Dino to the exact growth and mutations it had at the time the issue was reported.
